Summary
The Lurkening is a live web app and Telegram bot that watches Telegram channels and generates AI summaries. There's one post and one snapshot, with no pricing, payments, accounts or support, so there's little to show it's a business yet. It looks like an early working prototype with a distinct concept but an edge that's easy to copy.

Viability
Is there a real problem, someone who would pay, and a market this builder can actually reach?
The problem of keeping up with busy Telegram channels is real, but nothing shows a path to payment: no pricing, no payment provider, no stated customer.
22/100
Rubric 21–40A real problem, but no plausible path to anyone paying, or a market well out of this builder's reach.
Receipts (2)
Page shows no pricing, no payments, and no accounts, so there's no mechanism to charge anyone.

Moat
What stops someone copying it?
Summarizing Telegram posts with a hosted Llama model through Groq is something others here could rebuild in a weekend, and nothing proprietary or locally deep is visible.
15/100
Rubric 0–20A thin wrapper or a clone that anyone here could rebuild in a weekend.
Receipts (1)
Core features are Groq Llama-3.3 summaries, roasts and ELI5 breakdowns on top of Telegram ingestion, which is a thin layer over an external API.

Momentum
Did the updates keep coming?
There's a single post on one day (2026-08-28) and nothing since, so there's no record of steady shipping yet.

Infrastructure
Does a real, working product exist?
A live site and a Telegram bot with AI summaries exist and the concept is clear, but parts of the page still show loading placeholders and there are no accounts, docs, or status page.

- HTTPS5/5
Served over HTTPS.
- Real product25/35
The site loads and describes a working ingestion engine, a bot and multiple AI modes, but the page still shows 'decoding' placeholders and the actual depth can't be confirmed from the snapshot.
- Own home0/10
Only on a free subdomain or link-in-bio page.

There's a Telegram bot alongside the web app, so more than one surface, but no accounts, docs, API, or status page.

Sustainability
Is it being set up to last?
It sits on a free Vercel subdomain with no pricing, payments, privacy policy, terms, or support contact, and no sign of revenue or a team, so it's not yet set up to sustain itself.
