Summary

Keys is a live web app with sign-in through several providers and a written usage guide, posted once in January and untouched since. The problem is real, but password managers are a crowded space with strong free options, and nothing here shows a way to charge or a local angle. It reads as a small useful build, not a business yet.

Bloat · Not much here works or looks likely to last, yet.

Viability

Is there a real problem, someone who would pay, and a market this builder can actually reach?

Password storage is a real need, but free, well-known managers already cover it. There's no stated price, no payment setup, and no local angle such as Amharic or local payments.

22/100

Rubric 21–40A real problem, but no plausible path to anyone paying, or a market well out of this builder's reach.

Moat

What stops someone copying it?

A password vault on hosted auth and a free subdomain is something many local developers could rebuild in a weekend. No proprietary data, local integrations or distribution protect it.

8/100

Rubric 0–20A thin wrapper or a clone that anyone here could rebuild in a weekend.

Receipts (2)

  1. Sign-in goes through a hosted auth provider with standard social logins, which is off-the-shelf infrastructure.

  2. It runs on a free Vercel subdomain with no owned domain or distribution.

Infrastructure

Does a real, working product exist?

A live app with multi-provider sign-in and a usage guide shows a working product exists. I couldn't see inside the vault, so it counts as working but thin.

55/100

  • It's live20/20

    https://keys-theta.vercel.app/ responded when checked.

  • HTTPS5/5

    Served over HTTPS.

  • Real product25/35

The app is live with working account sign-in and a usage guide, so it appears to function. The dossier shows nothing about the vault itself, and the pages all redirect to a sign-in screen, so I can't confirm more than a thin working product.

  • Own home0/10

Only on a free subdomain or link-in-bio page.

  • Maintained0/15

    Last sign of shipping 2026-01-27.

  • Operations5/15

There are real accounts and a hosted auth backend, plus a usage guide. There's no API, status page, support contact or second platform.
